Horrifying Video Surfaces From Balochistan😨

A horrifying video from Pakistan's Balochistan province has surfaced on social media, showing the cold-blooded murder of a young couple who married without their families' consent. The victims have been identified as Bano Bibi and Ihsanullah.

The Chilling Footage🚙🔫

The footage shows a group of armed men arriving in SUVs and pickup trucks at a deserted area on the outskirts of Quetta, the provincial capital. The couple is dragged out of the vehicles before the woman, her head covered with a shawl, is handed a copy of the Qur'an.

Speaking in Brahavi, she tells one of the men, "Walk seven steps with me, after that you can shoot me." As he follows, she adds, "You are allowed only to shoot me. Nothing more than that." Her exact meaning remains unclear, but moments later, he shoots her multiple times at close range. She remains standing briefly before collapsing to the ground.

Brutal Execution💔🔫

Further gunshots are then heard, and the video shows a bloodied man lying beside her body as the gathered crowd cheers. Reports indicate the murder took place three days before Eid al-Adha in May 2025.

Arrests And Investigation⚖️

According to local police, the killings were ordered by a tribal elder, Sardar Satakzai, after the woman’s brother complained about her marriage, which had occurred without his approval. So far, 13 people, including the tribal leader and her brother, have been arrested.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the arrests, calling the incident a brutal "honour killing". The case has been transferred to the Serious Crime Investigation Wing for further probe.

FIR Details📄

The FIR, registered by Station House Officer Naveed Akhtar at Quetta’s Hanna-Urak police station, states that the couple was accused of having an ‘immoral relationship’ by the tribal leader, who ordered their execution. The video was allegedly uploaded online to instil fear in the community.

Disturbing Statistics📊

The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) recorded at least 405 honour killings in 2024, though activists believe the actual number is far higher due to underreporting.

Reactions And Condemnations🗣️

Political leaders and rights groups across Pakistan have condemned the killings. Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called the perpetrators “beasts” who deserved no mercy.

Baloch activist Sammi Deen Baloch termed it a heart-wrenching tragedy, urging elders to respect women’s choices. “Killing any woman in the name of honour is not only a heinous crime but also the worst humiliation of humanity,” she posted on X.
