The show pits 17 innocents against 3 traitors who secretly plot to eliminate the rest. Unfortunately, Mukesh himself was “killed” by the traitors in the latest episodes and had to leave the game.

In a candid interview with Times of India after his exit, Mukesh shared that the experience reminded him of a painful betrayal during the making of Sushant Singh Rajput’s final film, Dil Bechara.

He recalled, One of my biggest learnings from the show is that you really can’t trust anyone—not even the people you eat, sit, or travel with. You never know who might betray you.

Talking about the incident, Mukesh revealed, During Dil Bechara, I had left my casting company in the hands of one of my trusted casting assistants while I focused on directing the film. When I returned, I discovered he had stolen all my data and secretly launched his own casting company. I was shocked—it felt like a stab in the back because I had nurtured him from scratch.

Staying Positive and Looking Ahead ✨🌟

Despite the betrayal, Mukesh remains positive about his experience on The Traitors and expressed his eagerness to return if given a chance. He said, Now I know how to play the game. If I get an opportunity, I’ll definitely go back as a wildcard contestant.
