Two Locals Arrested for Harboring Terrorists🚨
The NIA has arrested two local residents — Parvaiz Ahmad Jothar from Batkote, Pahalgam, and Bashir Ahmad Jothar from Hill Park, Pahalgam — for providing shelter and logistical support to the attackers.
Investigators disclosed that the duo knowingly harbored the heavily armed terrorists at a seasonal hut (dhok) in Hill Park prior to the attack. The two have been booked under Section 19 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, which prescribes punishment for aiding terrorists.
Brutal Attack in Baisaran Valley💔
The massacre took place in Baisaran Valley, famously known as ‘Mini Switzerland’. It resulted in the deaths of 25 tourists and a local pony ride operator. Survivors and eyewitnesses recounted that the terrorists asked victims about their religion before executing them at point-blank range — one of the most horrifying terror acts in recent years.
Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Back⚔️
The barbaric attack triggered nationwide outrage and led India to launch Operation Sindoor to avenge the killings. Indian forces targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, asserting that only terror infrastructure was hit.
Pakistan retaliated with missile and drone strikes along India’s western border. India’s air defense systems intercepted most incoming projectiles, though heavy border shelling resulted in casualties on both sides.
Strong Message from New Delhi📢
In retaliation, India struck multiple Pakistani military installations, including air bases, forcing Islamabad to request a ceasefire. New Delhi has since issued a stern warning: any future attacks will meet with an overwhelming response.
Stay tuned for more updates as the investigation continues.📰
