Meghalaya Murder Mystery: Father Alleges Black Magic by Daughter-in-law🕵️‍♂️

Father Claims Sonam Practiced "Tantra Mantra"🧿

The father of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was tragically murdered in Meghalaya, has accused his daughter-in-law Sonam Raghuvanshi of using tantra mantra (black magic) on his son. Ashok Raghuvanshi revealed, “At Sonam’s request, Raja had hung a mysterious bundle on our main door. She said it would protect the house from the evil eye. Now, after his death, I believe she used black magic on him. After his murder, the bundle disappeared. Those guilty must be hanged.”

Mother Demands Answers💔

Raja’s mother, Uma Raghuvanshi, shared that both Raja and Sonam were considered mangliks (influenced by Mars) and that their wedding was held at an astrologically auspicious time set by Sonam’s family’s astrologer. “Sonam stayed at our house for just four days after the wedding and returned to her parents as per tradition. We sent her off happily. If I ever meet her again, I just want to ask — why did she get my son killed?” she said with grief.

A Short-lived Marriage & A Horrific Honeymoon💍

The couple tied the knot on May 11 and left for their honeymoon in Meghalaya on May 20. However, both went missing on May 23. Tragically, Raja’s body was discovered on June 2 in a deep gorge near a waterfall in Sohra (Cherrapunji), East Khasi Hills district.

Arrests & Investigation Updates🚨

Following the shocking discovery, Sonam (25), her alleged lover Raj Kushwah (20), and three of Kushwah’s friends were arrested for their suspected involvement in the murder. Sonam was later found at a roadside eatery in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.

Police Probe Beyond Love Triangle🔍

Meghalaya DGP Idashisha Nongrang stated that the investigation team is not ruling out other motives beyond the alleged love affair. “We are looking into various angles. It is quite unusual for someone to develop such animosity towards their spouse within days of marriage,”
