Cabinet Approves ₹6,405 Cr Multitracking Projects to Boost Indian Railways Across 7 Districts🚉
In a major move to improve India’s railway infrastructure, the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved two critical multitracking projects. These projects will span seven districts across Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, enhancing railway connectivity by 318 kilometers and contributing to the vision of ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.

- Creates a shorter, more efficient rail link between Patna and Ranchi.

- Covers Ballari and Chitradurga (Karnataka) and Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh).
