Trump's visit to Saudi delivers $142bn defence deal, Al orders for firms

US President Donald Trump secured a $600 billion commitment from Soudi Arabia on Tuesday to invest in the United States after the oil power according  him a gala welcome at the start of a tour of Gulf stars.

Meanwhile, the US agreed to sell Saudi Arabia an arms pack age worth nearly $142 bilion according to a White House fact sheet thot called "the largest defence cuoperation she largest estion agreement Washington  has ever done.

Separately, US chip firm AMD and Humain announced plans to build Al infrastructure that will see them invest up to $10 billion to deploy 500 mega watts of Al enmputing capacity over the next five years.

Saudi Arabian DataVolt plans to invest $20 billion in Al data centres and energy Infrastruc ture in the United States. Ge Goo gle, DataVolt, Oracle, Salesforce, AMD, and Uber are committing to invest 580 billion in technolo gies in both countries.

Pacts on several deals :Trump punched the air as he emerged from Air Force One to be greeted by crown prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who later signed an agreement with the president in Riyadh en energy, defence, mining and other areas.
